Cheng Pier joins National Instruments (NI) to pioneer NI Academia in ASEAN. Prior to joining NI, Cheng Pier kickstarted the LEGO Education direct businesses in Singapore, developed the education markets in South East Asia, Republic of China (Taiwan) and India, including introducing the first FIRST LEGO League event outside the United States and World Robot Olympiad to the respective countries. Over the years, Cheng Pier has worked with many education authorities in the region to introduce hands-on learning and teaching in classrooms.

Cheng Pier earned her Economics Degree and Liberal Arts Certification from Simon Fraser University, Canada and Masters of e-Commerce from University of Queensland, Australia.
